Game Scene Sprint Review 1

During this sprint, I was only able to accomplish a few things. However, now that my group has formed out a better plan for the future, I am confident I will be successful in the future. I was able to create two models for this sprint, as well as get the basic plans laid out fore the camp.

The first model I created was a flashlight for use by the player. I debated on whether to make the flashlight a higher poly count than other objects since the player would be holding it, meaning they would be looking at it more often. However, I decided to begin with a low-poly model, knowing that I can add more detail to either the model itself, or a high poly mesh for baking. I also UV'd the model, immediately after, which wasn't too difficult.

The other model I was able to create was this modular fence model. The plan is to add a wooden log texture to the model, which is why the cylinders have a sort of odd shape to them. Eventually, I plan to combine them into one object, then place the transformation tool on the bottom right of the model, so the tool will snap to the vertices in the bottom left of another copy.

For the next sprint, I plan to model more props from our list on the trello board. I also plan to help with any excess jobs that need doing, such as extra texturing work.
