This week, I focused on beginning the textures for my props. I was unable to create a proper texture for the mailbox prop, and have discovered I will likely need to redo the UVs on the prop. However, I was able to begin the process of texturing the props I have so far. Below you can see the chair and the hazard sign, which I have been debating whether or not to add markings to. On one hand, the sign would look great with actual markings, on the other hand, the idea of the paint on the metal decaying over time is a theme I would like to explore. For now, I have decided to stick with the damaged metal and no paint, but this may change in the future.

Below you can see the square sign prop and the propane tank props, which I have continued the theme of eroded metal for. I will likely add some baked on detail in the future, and I have been considering a high-poly model for the propane specifically. Next I plan to begin exporting my models into unreal, and generally learning unreal. I also plan to watch the helpful video on an apocalyptic street recommended to me by my professor, since it is exactly what I have been looking for, and I have dedicated myself to unreal engine.
