This post is being written at the end of the semester as a sort of postmortem of the week this was supposed to be written. On said week, I decided to ignore my responsibilities in this class and others in favor of celebrating my grades rising in other classes, as well as many projects I was participating in being finished. Because of this, I missed the initial group selection process and information dump about the project.
I would then spend the next weekend attempting to reconcile this mistake. I texted the professor a few times over discord, without knowing he was unavailable. When I did not receive an answer, I texted classmates who brought me up to speed.
I decided to begin preparing for a Star Wars The Old Republic (SWTOR) scene by installing the game and familiarizing myself with it somewhat. I was unsure of the exact image being used or the terrain being selected for modeling, so I began considering what different layouts may be used. Eventually, I realized that there was a good possibility of the terrain being either a forest or a desert, since the buildings in these environment seemed the most likely to have been modeled using modular modeling.

Above, I have included a few images of concept I decided to study in preparation for the assignment. I started with a forest, and found the planet of Taris for inspiration. Although admittedly, the atmosphere in this planet is closer to a rainforest than a traditional forest.
Next, I ended up looking at Tatooine, a very well known planet with fairly simple architecture. Funny enough, the picture I found ended up being used for the project itself.
