     This week, I was determined to begin bringing my assets into unreal. I had been recommended a video to watch for creating the street in my scene, but due to quixel megascans errors, I was unable to download enough asphalt textures to create my street, so I was unable to create my street texture. However, I was able to bring in my buildings and setup my unreal scene, so I cam happy with my progress. Below you can see the raw scene in unreal, which took longer than expected to put together. I had to combine the meshes on the buildings, which took quite a bit of time to duplicate, but I am happy with the way they sit in the scene.

    I watched the video recommended to me, but was struggling with the new software, since Unreal engine and quixel are foreign to me. The video was very helpful, and next week I will certainly have a street texture ready.  I am excited to work on decals for my scene, especially because I was informed in class that the decals would make texturing easier. I am most excited to learn mixer in general, since it feels like a skill I will carry with me to the future.
